At MagicCon Atlanta, Wizards of the Coast unveiled the majority of their 2026 set releases for Magic: The Gathering, reserving one surprise Universes Beyond set for New York Comic Con. During the Nickelodeon x Magic: The Gathering panel at New York Comic Con, the big reveal emerged: The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are making their way to Magic in March 2026.
The initial unveiling showcased a single preconstructed Commander deck featuring all four turtles, each with a unique Partner ability called Character Select, enabling players to interchange their lead characters freely. Cards for the turtles, along with Splinter, April O’Neil, Rocksteady, Bebop, Krang, Super Shredder, and more, were also showcased.
The MTG Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles set is set to introduce Play Boosters, Collector Boosters, and a novel Draft Night bundle designed for four-player drafts. Additionally, a special Pizza Bundle is slated for March 27, featuring Play Boosters, a Collector Booster, and other items packaged in a TMNT-themed pizza box. The set will also introduce the Turtle Team-Up co-op experience, allowing 2-4 players to align with decks themed around each turtle to combat various TMNT villains represented as Boss cards. Baxter Stockman, Shredder, Rat King, and Krang are among the Boss cards included in the kit.
The launch of the set is scheduled for March 6 in major retailers and local game stores, with prerelease events slated for February 27. The TMNT gallery below showcases cards, artwork, and product images from the NYCC panel reveal.
Leonardo, the Balance, Leonardo, Sewer Samurai, Leonardo, Worldly Warrior, Donatello, the Brains, Donatello, Rad Scientist, April O’Neil, Hacktivist, Raphael, the Muscle, Raphael, Tag Team Tough, Casey Jones, Jury-Rig Justiciar, Michelangelo, the Heart, Michelangelo, On the Scene, Splinter, the Mentor, Krang, Master Mind, Super Shredder, Bebop & Rocksteady, Mutagen token, Krang, Dimension X Overlord, Rat King, the Chaosbringer, Shredder, Foot Clan Overlord, and Baxter, Exzzperimental Zzientist are among the characters and cards featured in the TMNT set.
The set also includes Plains, Island, Swamp, Mountain, and Forest cards with Full-Art Pizza Land designs, along with reprints like Doubling Season, Jennika’s Technique, Krang and Shredder, Splinter, Hamato Yoshi, The Last Ronin’s Technique, and the TMNT Collector Booster. Various TMNT-themed products such as the Turtle Power! Commander Deck, TMNT Play Booster Box, TMNT Bundle, Turtle Team-Up, TMNT Draft Night, TMNT Prerelease Kit, and TMNT Pizza Bundle are part of the lineup.
With this exciting crossover, Magic: The Gathering fans and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles enthusiasts can look forward to a unique and immersive gaming experience blending the worlds of card magic and classic heroes in a half shell.
